A good clear article with some sensible ideas. I don't share the author's geographic fatalism - in knowledge services, it's people that are good at things, not places.

A number of these organisations fought tooth and nail against HS2. They won, thanks to Sunak; for my lifetime we will have more cars and HGVs instead. But yes, these people can absolutely be trusted when they sound off about "win-win" development.
