Anyone who still doesn’t understand why we have Pride marches needs to read this (tw for homophobia & hate crimes). Until people are no longer stalked, harassed and killed for being who they are, Pride is necessary. It’s a celebration but it’s also a protest. And it’s really friggin necessary.
