For those of you who rely on government websites for your research, American University has put together this guide to sites that have archived them. subjectguides.library.american.edu/data_rescue/...

Unimaginable disaster. Taking the country (and others) backwards. A lot. Which grotesquely seems to be the intention.

I was there, as a rather young tyke. My lasting memory is the people hawking “pope soap on a rope” to the throng.

Popes are among my most fun political Rorschach tests.

We are going to get an encyclical about technology. Just sayin.

“Yep, the Vatican himself is sending us to the Cook County Tax Assessor Office.”

No crystals, essential oils or "super foods", just good hard science and lots of hard, hard work. This is the kind of life-changing research that is now under peril.

Habemus Papam, apparently.

What could possibly go wrong.

Come on Celtics. Hopes muted.

I’m close to getting tired of having to state it, but again: eugenics.

Political theory/philosophy job in our Department! Deadline 26 May. Happy to answer questions by email. werkenbij.uva.nl/en/vacancies...

Stopped clock, etc.

Don’t blow this Celtics please. Not against…them.

A year after and I’m still in a state of great shock after my best friend and co- author’s passing. Make the most of the time you have with the best people in your life. You don’t get many of them.

Yet more eugenics, however subtle. Or not so subtle.
