I've been picking at this book revision (not IGNORE, IGNORE is finished dev edits already, this is a different project) and it is feeling like the trickiest, most elusive revision I've ever done. I think I have a plan and then I come back to it and can't remember why that was the plan.

This morning I went to the farmer's market in a rainbow hat and tried cookies that were made from cricket flour by a pair of queer cricket farmers and then I went to a Pride run/walk and talked to a guy about maybe starting a queer writers' group. I burned out hard after but it was a good morning.

I love all the Vaurians from THE OUTSIDE, who are shapeshifters, and who vary in their use of pronouns, but many tend to adopt different pronouns depending on the body they're in at the time and to enjoy having different perceived genders at different times.
