I went to a Lucy Dacus acoustic gig the other night. Doors 6pm, started 7pm, finished 8pm. I was home and in my pyjamas by 9.30pm. Petition for all gigs - and indeed all entertainment events - to be like this henceforth.

Sometimes on my banking app I open it up, do my fingerprint to get into the app, and it says "Thank you, you have been successfully logged out" and then I have to start again. So I open it and log in only to be logged out. This is of no consequence to you. But, "a problem shared" etc...

The government was wrong to cut winter fuel payments. It was wrong to keep the 2-child benefit cap. It was wrong to slash disability benefits. Pushing people into poverty is the wrong thing to do. The right thing to do is redistribute wealth and power so that everyone can live in dignity.

Looking at the Arts Council England National Investment dashboard, success rate for National Lottery Project Grants (under £30k, 2023-24 & 24-25) is 30.61%. A little higher than I expected but still paints a bleak picture.
