It was fun briefly believing that Merino might magically solve the issue of failing to sign a forward, but it was never realistic.

Shocking for their goal defensively. Offensively, only have one attack who isn't even first choice on the pitch is showing. Anyway onto the second half #COYG

🎶PSV again ole ole🎶

A timeless Palace moment.

UTA 🔴⚪️✊

Merino at centre-forward went from a meme to “might be our only option to win this game” to being the obvious choice for our coming games. Big impact.

People were moaning we didn't sign a striker in the summer? We did! His name was Mikel Merino.

You think this Sterling performance is bad for Arsenal? Chelsea are still on the hook for the best part of £40m in wages. Who’s taking him off their hands next year?

Obviously there is never a good time to have so many attacking injuries. I think we are fortunate we've got a game or two to sort ourselves out. Imagine the front 3 will be some combination of Nwaneri, Sterling Trossard. It's not Tetas style to do anything radical. I'd go Tierney Trossard Nwaneri.

Imagine leaving that early if you were an Everton fan. Also that steward lol.

Disgraceful scenes at FT, think there must be at least a 20 points deduction to Liverpool at least. (More seriously beautiful scenes what derbys are all about.)

We went into the season, with 6 senior attackers. And integrating Nwaneri in. Not unreasonable in the summer In Jan, we had 4/5 fit attackers. Since Jan closed we lost 2. We've been unlucky. I can see why we didn't spend big on someone we'd need to replace. Hopefully someone can step up now!

That Butler Oyedeji goal vs Leicester is gonna hit like crack.

I see Dani hasn't changed.

The sooner my club stops these sportwashing sponsorships the better. Particularly with "Visit Rwanda" and "Emirates" as they are the most notable two. If there are any others I don't know of please let me know!

Dead bodies are decomposing on the streets of Goma. The UN has described “immense human suffering” and a death toll nearing 3,000, following a Rwanda-backed offensive. Arsenal’s sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda has become impossible to justify. www.telegraph.co.uk/football/202...

Just deeped if it wasn't for uefas nonesense handball rule we would of been through in the top 8 already.

Surely this is the norm? Paper backs are such a superior reading experience.

Rice superb again, good performance overall presides from moments. Good win and top 8 more or less secured, can't ask for much more.

Finally a nice calm arsenal game, it's been too long.

Thank the lord for Private Eye

What a 55 days following the Arsenal. 😍

Big shout out to Arsenal for showing us there was nearly two minutes til second half KO….. whilst simultaneously showing us live second half action 😐

Just don’t understand why they’ve messed about with everything like this in the middle of the season 🙄
