i keep seeing people say that LLMs are good at search. NO. WRONG. You have just forgotten how good search used to be. Google broke it's own flagship product, and so you are accepting a demented chatbot's half baked gishgallop because we no longer have functional web search.

Damn near 30 years at this and it's still a huge PITA to pull data from a PDF into Excel. Even Copilot balked at it. Thank goodness for good ol' trusty Notepad, savior of tabs & line-breaks.

Travel safely and protect yourself. I would still LOVE mobile OS's to add an option that unlocks your phone to a minimum set of apps & data by providing an alternate fingerprint, or a "Windows 365" type app where my core apps could run in a remote virtual phone.

I am so bummed about this change. I do live demos where I'm often in 2 or 3 Windows 365 sessions as different users simultaneously, and the Windows App is NOT great for this. I like keeping my sessions tidily organized into different Chrome user profiles.

I know we're all very angry right now, but PLEASE stop using the age of these engineers as a defining component of their villainy. At 26 I had domain admin access to a military network. I was insufferable, but I knew my stuff. These guys are carrying out evil, but their age is irrelevant.
