Somewhere out there a flat earther is looking at the news, stirring horse paste into his raw milk, and crying

It's so bad, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has offered to negotiate a peace deal between Trump and Musk, but only if Trump agrees to forfeit all government territory taken by Musk during his invasion of government

I guess we can just assume any Republican who hasn’t already come out and forcefully and publicly backed Trump and condemned Elon is a disloyal treasonous RINO playing both sides. Like JD Vance.

Just gonna leave this here...

once again I must tap my own sign

Apropos of nothing I feel like one of the most important things to help your kids develop is an ability to self-regulate.

hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha (breath) hahahahahahaha

this is like drake and kendrick lamar but they're both drake

I'm just glad one of these men has the nuclear codes and the other has all our personal data.

For four long years I was told not to call what’s coming our way fascism but here we are:

President Trump has now pardoned 9 members of Congress convicted of crimes

The biggest scandal in U.S. history is hiding in plain sight. The president and his family are boosting their wealth by $1 billion every month, selling the power and prestige of the White House. Giving this a name - Cryptogate - and a concise guide. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/trum...

A drug addict usurped congressional power, and unilaterally gutted US soft power. Members of the administration knew about, and were disturbed by, his drug use (WSJ). Isn’t this a cover-up?

It is easy to forget that when Paul Weiss and the other law firms that capitulated to Trump cut their deals they thought they would be viewed as savvy dealmakers. Now they look like craven fools and gutless cowards.

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

No other developed nation in the world would tolerate the monstrosity that is the GOP's Murder-Suicide Pact with America. It's time to face the fact that virtually every other leading democracy on the planet serves their people better than we do here. My latest. www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-big-b...

Did you know that $100M in food aid is rotting in warehouses that could feed the entire population of Gaza for a month and half, but a 28-year-old at DOGE is holding it hostage? www.reuters.com/world/us-aid...

One darkly amusing aspect of the politics of the last decade is that Trump has very clearly & explicitly formed a coalition of the nation's dumbest, most ignorant, most racist & sexist voters -- there's *overwhelming* empirical evidence at this point -- but we're not allowed to say that out loud.

I might feel differently about a conversation around accountability for the Dems propping up someone too old to do his job if that was something uniquely true of Joe Biden, but I am old enough to remember AOC getting smacked down for daring to try and unseat a committee chair who was “a young 75”

FYI: The Senate bipartisan stablecoin bill is poised for a resurrection next week, with crypto-friendly Dem negotiators agreeing to language that includes no new restrictions on the crypto businesses of Donald Trump and his family. They argue the bill is progress because industry would be regulated.

WTH man? Real World bro also serving as Transportation Sec Sean Duffy reportedly changed his wife's flight to avoid Newark and then went on TV to broadcast it's safe to fly in and out of Newark. @paleofuture.bsky.social w the details. ↘️

It’s actually insane that there’s an argument happening here over whether the plane grift is “corruption” What are we even doing?

One major problem of SCOTUS inventing presidential "immunity" is it invalidates the actual words of the constitution. abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...

*Open bribery *Masked armed officials arresting residents without warrants, citizens who try to intervene *Arrests for engaging in non-violent speech *Destruction of government capacities *Massive economic uncertainty and damage *Unprecedented targeting of government power against political enemies

Big story of the week? --WH wanting to suspend habeas corpus --Illegal gestapo like round-ups nationwide --Arresting and intimidating public officials --Economic chaos, lies and weakening economy --Turning the corruption up to 11 --Destroying US healthcare protections --Gutting American science

The Secretary of Comnerce is lying to the American public

An update from me from Northern Mexico—today, I visited a family who was deported, without due process, from the U.S. with their U.S. citizen children—including their 11-year-old daughter who is suffering from a brain tumor.

How about some basic rules? --All law enforcement officers should wear identification --No law enforcement officers should be allowed masks --All law enforcement officers should wear and use body cams ...oh and... --All law enforcement officers should understand, respect & follow the law

I hate that the thanks for donating to a Democratic candidate is having my phone number sold on a list to a hundred other campaigns, all of whom send me passive-aggressive texts asking for my donation, often weirdly attempting a guilt trip, as though I knew them. I really don’t like that.

First-term Donald Trump credited George Washington's army for seizing airports from the British. Second-term Donald Trump claims Iwo Jima is in Europe.

Should remain the top story.

These headlines related to U.S. military aviation have all appeared in the last 11 days. There is a major problem at the Defense Department.

If as President you answer “I don’t know” when asked if you’ll follow the Constitution, you have violated your oath of office and should be removed.

Shouldn’t this be a bigger story?!? Senator Mark Warner calls for probe into report that WH is pressuring countries to use Musk’s Starlink company in exchange for tariff relief. Watch: open.substack.com/pub/jimacost...

Pediatricians say that childhood vaccines are safe. A heroin-addled nepo baby with a brain worm says they may not be. For busy voters, it can be hard to know who to believe.

People have said it for years now, but Trump really does follow so many abuser tactics from domestic violence. Just since taking office he's alienated America from its friends, financially isolated the country through tariffs, and made its welfare dependent on the largesse of his day-to-day whims.

Proof this guy is full of SITH.

Trump said in an interview today that he wasn’t sure if everyone on American soil is entitled to due process, despite clear constitutional guarantees.

He stood there on Jan 20 and falsely mouthed the words to protect and defend our Constitution. Asked now on Meet the Press if he thinks he needs to uphold the Constitution, he says, “I don’t know.” Translation: No. Woe to America and the utter failure of putting this man back in our Oval Office.

Second-term Trump messages: "America's over-indulged 11 year old girls own too many pencils." And also: "I'm not sure whether president needs to obey the Constitution."

Apropos… Episode XLVII: The Tariff Menace #MayThe4thBeWithYou

Marjorie Taylor Greene bought Palantir shares days before ICE awarded the company a $30M contract. Greene sits on the House Committee on Homeland Security, the department that oversees U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. #MomSky #Voices4Victory

Trump’s 48-hour scramble to fly migrants to a Salvadoran prison The Trump regime rounded up many of the Venezuelan men two days before the flights took off, pressing forward even as Venezuela agreed to accept deportees. (Gift article) wapo.st/4jHQfDn

Trump just said "I don't know" when he was asked on Meet the Press if he's required to uphold the Constitution.

Indeed!

Mark Zuckerberg saying “actually no one has friends” is at “the female orgasm doesn’t exist” levels of telling on yourself

Seriously. If you haven’t watched Carney’s speech yet, you should. He’s not trying to be the “grand orator” like Obama. He has a humility, authenticity and humour that you REALLY don’t expect from someone with his world-class credentials and reputation. And his focus on values is very effective.
