I help you not get fooled by AI slop. I also help artists be better. Because a world full of human made art is the future we’re all fighting for.

This is just one example of this particular rage bait being passed around bsky. Five second of searching finds this comes from a satirical account on Twitter. She wrote this to be funny, not to legitimize AI use in education. Her worst crime is still being on Twitter.

Finally some right wing AI slop on bluesky! From none other than snowstorm fleeing Raphael Cruz himself! Check out how Tucker isn’t looking at Luke and is hold a microphone, even though he’s not a street reporter. As always, lifeless faces. No character. Good likeness, because it’s based on photos.

This is an interesting and scary take. A New Yorker columnist is using chatbots because she doesn’t want to be left behind. But using failed tech doesn’t give you a leg up. The things she does think it was useful for, like health and future planning advice, are frightening. 1/

This is when AI art gets especially gross. I love Tara McPherson and this is recognizably in her style. You're clearly a fan and instead of paying for and promoting her actual work, you paid a genAI company to make something that dilutes her portfolio and destroys her ability to make more art.

A hobby requires effort and skill. You know, like knitting or bird watching, or gaming, or, you know, making actual art. What skill are you getting from diluting the arts and destroying the environment?

Too bad substack is a hotbed of Nazism that its CEO has no problem with. If you're on substack I am not reading you.

Despite millions in VC money, David Holz, the founder of Midjourney, looks like he crawled out of his moms basement. The logo for his slop slinging company is so bad it defies belief. Someone probably drew it in Illustrator in 5 minutes. Who knew such banality could wreak so much havoc on the world?

It’s always “next year”.

If you look at this guy's profile it is human, but he's utterly indiscriminate about what he posts. And he's actually talking to this GenAI bot like it's human. Why? I don't know. Being left wing, to me, is fighting nihilism. And there's nothing more nihilistic and fascist than AI.

‪@truthwill-reign.bsky.social‬ is a funny account. A profile calling itself "truth" while pushing nothing but GenAI images is hilariously ironic. It claims to not just be a leftie but an "artist". Meanwhile even its profile pic is the kind of generic GenAI white lady face fascist incels beat off to.

It’s been about 7 months since OTOY released their creepy Unification fan film. In that time they’ve have to fight claims of generating it with AI. And why wouldn’t they? It has all the hallmarks of a bad genAI video. 7 months of living with and IDing AI vids has made that all the more clear. 1/

This is also prob AI gen. The brush strokes are weird. The hands are too, esp the trigger hand that is a blob. Same with the right foot. The scope is angled in the opposite direction of the gun. And what is that beam? Plus the font is abnormal looking, with a fill texture that looks like lace.

Why is Peppermint Patty “presenting”?

From the @nytimes.com. At their best LLMs fabricate information wholesale 44% of the time. Newer models can top 79%.

This needs to happen with self-driving cars, too. According to one company so-called “robotaxis” need remote human intervention every 5 blocks at least. The tech is unlikely to improve. At some point they’ll just farm out driving to India too. That might even have been the plan from the jump.

I would be shocked is any of this is real. We’re talking about companies that profit off “AI safety” being called “independent” when their existence depends on AI not just existing but be perceived as “dangerous”.
