As a foreigner, the capabilities of the telephone system here in Ukraine amaze me. I have been a subscriber to Kyivstar since I arrived. Ukrainians will know that the price continues to creep up, but the robustness of the network in the face of physical and cyber attacks is very much appreciated.

I've been blessed in Ukraine to be able to live in close proximity to a pair of really cool cats. Yeah, the people I hang out with are interesting, but these sphinx cats, Jackson and Marsik are truly amazing. Jackson is the more outgoing of the two, thus the photo.. Marsik is older and more timid.

Thanks a kind donor, we were able to distribute 76,800 1ml syringes to Kharkiv hospitals and an animal rescue group. I had no clue as to how large a shipment it was when I agreed to assist in the distribution. Слава Україні! Слава волонтерам!
