I finished this today. Booker International shortlisted slow sci-fi (slow-fi?). AI goes from benevolent to indifferent to hostile. If that makes it sound exciting… well it’s not. But it is deep, moving & thought-provoking. I really liked it. Under the Eye of the Big Bird by Hiromi Kawakami.

Two of Zinedine Zidane’s sons played against each other today. Theo for Córdoba and Luca for Granada. It finished 5-0 to Córdoba with Luca scoring a late own goal to help his brother out. It puts Córdoba only one point behind Granada in 9th place. Both in with a good shot of making the playoffs.
