The drop in chance creation came out of nowhere this year. Still an elite playmaker in there but he has been more in that “very good” range than the special talent from his rookie season.

Burakovsky's a weird case of the team creating scoring chances when he carries the puck in while not generating much himself. He played with some of the better offensive guys on Seattle (McCann, Bjorkstrand), so I guess that could be it.

Seattle's remaining forwards looks like an army of Safari Zone encounters. Guess Marchment fits somewhere in there. A ton of guys on one-year deals & they can start somewhat fresh after next season if they want to.

Game 4 Statcap - Oilers finally lead 5v5 chances with some small wins across the board adding up. Great games from Podkolzin & RNH. - Tkachuk's best game of the series, two PPGs and three chance setups. - Still not a lot of rush offense for either team but EDM made their limited ones count.
