Book NO.16 of 2025. I LOVE this series. This second one is completely unconnected to the first book & there are some similarities in the characters' traits but I can overlook that as I loved the story. The 3rd one goes back to the first cast & I'm really looking forward to it. #Booksky #2025Reading

We are SO SO excited to be joined by Jenny @kimchica.bsky.social on this week’s episode of the podcast! We discuss a ton of cozy subjects including the @wholesomegames.com Direct 👀 Tuesday on Patreon Wednesday everywhere else 🎧

Kind of makes you wish Reform had taken control of every council, because it would then be impossible for the MSM to cover up Reform's incompetence nationwide. Bear in mind they only took power at the start of May, and numerous Reform councillors have since quit, triggering July by-elections.

Farage now claims that Scottish Labour Leader Anas Sarwar vowed, "We are the south Asian community. We are going to take over the country & take over the world." @bbcjamescook.bsky.social rightfully states that Sarwar did not say anything to that effect. Despicable race-baiting lies from Farage.

If you make immigration the problem you make Farage the solution.

Stunning details now emerging: this was an operation planned a year and a half in advance, involved smuggling drones into Russia, placing them in containers on top of trucks, arranging for them all to open simultaneously and to strike.

Today marks the beginning of Pride Month - now more than ever, we must stand with the LGBTQ+ community. I want to make clear that our party will keep fighting - until we can finally build a society where everyone is free to be who they are. www.libdems.org.uk/news/article/pride-month-2025

@mrjamesob.bsky.social, you should start a vet business that charges reasonable prices, in the long run, you'd make money. Nice little retirement fund, lol. 🤣

The far right will, of course, treat the Paul Doyle case very differently from one where the accused is darker-skinned or foreign or both. The rest of us must not. That’s kind of the point.

I made a video essay explaining why, in my view, Israel is committing genocide under international law. I hope this helps frame the issue a little bit better and explain why there is a consensus among academics that this is indeed a genocide. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmCl...

Why do shops whose carrier bags are paper, charge for them?! The whole point of the charge was to reduce plastic & consumers have just gone along with it! Why???!!! Plus, by taking a bag from a shop, you're advertising for the company, completely free.

NEW: After an 86-day blockade of food into Gaza, starving residents are pictured being herded like livestock & surrounded by fencing and barbed wire as they await food parcels. This photo was posted in the last hour by Gaza-based journalist Motasem A Dalloul.

I just signed this Greenpeace petition to stop supermarkets flooding us with throwaway plastic.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social @eleanorwalsh.bsky.social James, I've been banging on about this for a while to you, but repeated Covid illnesses really do impact the brain and attention span. Here's a thread by @catinthehat.bsky.social with just a few of the studies: threadreaderapp.com/thread/17638...

Book No.15 of 2025. Omg, I loved this book! Very heavy topics but written so well & sensitively. I like to read new things in-between series but I'm so ready to dive into book 2! Found myself reading in the middle of the day with this book which is rare for me too. Loved it! #BookSky #2025Reading

The gulf between what London is actually like & how it is portrayed by terminally online, self-styled ‘patriots’ & their political heroes is absolutely incredible. I wonder how much it has to do with the city repeatedly electing a Muslim mayor… www.timeout.com/london/news/...

Watching 'Change Your Mind, Change Your Life' on iPlayer. It's about therapy & I've just had another Life revelation. This week has been momentous, lol. Watching this show & identifying with some of the situations of people makes me feel like I'm getting therapy for free, lol.
