I’m starting to think that this moment is among other things the right having it’s 2014 peak woke. The problem is that the right has control over most of politics and all of the economy while the left has the extra newspaper part about movies and books, plus literature studies.

References to "tactical" nuclear weapons in this otherwise great @theguardian.com story by @hugolowell.bsky.social are misleading. The US would drop a strategic B61-11 nuclear earth penetrator with a yield of 300 or 400 kilotons. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were 15 and 21 kt.

Har bara förakt för lärare som inte integrerar vitt snus i sin undervisning. Eleverna fattar att vitt snus är framtiden, därför är det dosor på varenda bänk och gamla prillor i varje hörn, snusklistermärken på varje skåp i korridoren. Antingen är du som lärare med eller så stryper du framsteg.

It's easy to forget now but we had decades of steady advancement on trans rights. The 2016 bathroom bills invited huge backlash! It was only after the media constructed sports and youth medications as 'debates' that opposition moved from the far right to the polite center.
