@washingtina.bsky.social introducing Sadie to Moonstruck tonight

Happy Rex Manning Day!

Saw Good Night and Good Luck on Broadway tonight, and it was incredibly timely and well done. George Clooney injected more humor into the role than I remember from David Straitharn in the movie, but it wasn’t unwelcome.

Shout out to all our National Parks, including the ones in and around the DC area. We went on a big walk around Roosevelt Island this weekend, and it was lovely and tranquil.

Nah, you’ll just vote to screw over the people of DC.

Love is your husband sending this to you because he also knows the rule.

Spotted: Senator Susan Collins on a flight from West Palm to DC. Why ever might she have been here?

This is where you go to tell the National Park Service to restore the word "transgender" in its entry on the Stonewall monument. (Scroll down.)

Not me, liking every single reel and TikTok about Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, Saquon Barkley and his daughter, Jalen Hurts, Cooper DeJean and every other thing about the Eagles win.

In today’s edition of the world is heavy and I carry what I can, I’m choosing to celebrate the pregnancy of someone I know who has struggled with infertility, and I’m getting in a workout that’s kicking my ass. Also going to enjoy dinner with a good friend. I don’t have reps I can call, so 1/2

Fuck these people. #taxationwithoutrepresentation dailycaller.com/2025/02/06/e...

To add insult to injury, DC residents, many of whom ARE feds, do not have representation they can call to protest anything happening to the federal government right now. I WISH I could call a senator and say don’t confirm Patel, but all I can do is encourage my friends with senators to do so.

Happy Black History Month

Good for them; there’s a donation link in the replies if you’re willing and able to help make up some of the loss in sponsorship.

Shout out to the NY Knicks for kicking things off with Lift Every Voice and Sing before the national anthem.

Not me being the quiet car enforcer on this train to NY.
