This week for #RandomGameSaturday, I reached into my #MegaDrive shelf and came away with Wiz ‘n’ Liz! It’s super fast, a fab 2-player party game, full of cutesy wabbits and with lots of hidden minigames… or if that doesn’t convince, it’s an Amiga port by Psygnosis, so you know it’s got to be great!

Oh, Stargate Atlantis… I can forgive audible engine noise in space, and even explosions and lasers, cos everyone does it. But I just can’t take the Wraith Hive ships seriously when their lasers go “pew pew pew”… 😂

Trespasser is a 1st person action game where you control Anne and try to help her escape this island full of dinosaurs! This game was VERY ahead of its time and super ambitious but it released very unfinished. You know what it nailed? Immersion. That's a huge reason I love it!

35 years ago, CVG reviewed this highly enjoyable entry in the Alex Kidd series. Plenty o' hack and slash action, bit o' puzzling, and, of course, a veritable goodie bag of platforming. Just a really solid and fun Master System release and definitely a crowd pleaser for Alex Kidd fans.

when i was in middle school i used to hang out with my friend Robert. i had picked up a copy of Midway Arcade Treasures 2, which was a bunch of retro arcade games compiled on one disc, and always brought it to his house so we could play random games together. one of those games was 1987’s Xenophobe.
