Damn‼️ Federal agents blew a door off for this? Federal agents blasted their way into an LA home where Jenny Ramirez lives with her boyfriend and two kids. She heard the blast while checking on her 6-year-old, with her 1-year-old in her arms. Ramirez says everyone in the home is a U.S. citizen. 🧵

The Supreme Court just sanctioned getting rid of Walt Whitman in public schools.

There were 28 nationwide injunctions against Biden, and the Supreme Court didn't have an issue with any of them. I wonder what changed.

It’s every parent’s nightmare, isn’t it? you check your child’s bulletproof backpack and find a picture book about gay penguins

“As an alumna of [UVA], I am deeply saddened to see our Governor, his Administration, and so many members of the Board of Visitors remain silent in the face of these attacks on the integrity and independence of [UVA]" - @SpanbergerForVA bluevirginia.us/2025/06/uva-...

Oh, just thinking of all the brothers from inner cities who put their bodies on the line for this ghoul.

Make no mistake, the SCOTUS decision about birthright citizenship IS ALSO ABOUT *birthright citizenship.* The Court is using nationwide injunctions as the tail, wagging the dog, to take us back to an Antebellum view of citizenship. That way led to war once. My latest in @thenation.com

Trump says he gave Iran permission to bomb US airbase. Any other president would have been impeached before sunset www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/ju...

Today’s Supreme Court ruling is a devastating blow to access to justice in our judicial system. Regardless of the ruling, the Constitution is clear. If you were born in the United States you are an American citizen.

yeah its really hard to argue that this isnt the worst supreme court in history. dred scott imo was THE worst decision in the history of the US, like genuinely beyond the pale levels of evil, but then we've gotten several rulings with this court that come pretty close. repealing roe v wade, for ex.

BREAKING: Supreme Court just ruled 6-3 in a decision that allows for LGBTQ+ discrimination in public schools—a loss for freedom of speech, public education, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Hard to even articulate how awful today is for news, how many fucked up supreme court decisions got handed down, just fully engulfed in a tide of bullshit. A better world than this is still possible. But holy fuck is the hole we have to climb out of deep right now, and getting deeper by the day.

Trump calling a press conference to gloat about his Supreme Court is very much in the same quiet part out loud vein as bragging about giving Iran permission to bomb a US base.

Supreme Court - corrupt Congress - corrupt President - corrupt It’s checks and checks all the way down

Only two possibilities: 1) Six Supreme Court Justices are very stupid people, who simply didn't expect this practical impact of their rulings even though it's happened multiple times before. 2) They're into it. I don't think all of these highly educated high achievers are stupid.

I'm not a huge fan of citing the Founding Fathers (after all, they endorsed slavery and denied women the vote), but I think it's obvious that they'd be aghast to see today's Congress and Supreme Court surrender their power to an aspiring dictator.

This outrageous Supreme Court decision is another reminder that the courts won’t save us. Today’s ruling from the MAGA SCOTUS is all the more reason why Democrats in Congress must fight like hell to block Trump’s policies from being enacted and gum up the works as much as possible.

BREAKING: In response to today's Supreme Court ruling, we filed a nationwide class-action lawsuit against the Trump administration’s executive order restricting birthright citizenship. Birthright citizenship makes our country strong and dynamic. We are using every tool in our toolkit to defend it.

Calling all artists! I'm putting together the schedule for the Cartoon Art Museum's Sketch-A-Thon fundraiser at our Comic-Con booth (and additional at-home commissions done for mail order). If you'd like to take part, please let me know!

i just saw an elderly man give money to a guy playing the saxophone at the west 4th subway station and the man started to dance. new york has fallen.

NYC, if you want Mamdani instead of Cuomo or Adams as your mayor, RIGHT NOW is the time to call all of your Democratic reps - local and national - and demand they back Mamdani. They need to hear from us RIGHT NOW. Find your reps here: reps.nyc www.cnn.com/2025/06/26/p...

i’m telling yall, get whatever vaccines you need now bc there’s no guarantee they’ll be around later

Unhinged Hegseth opens up his press conference attacking the media and ranting that “President Trump directed the most complex and secretive military operation in history.” Not D-Day. The Iran bombing.

people are asking

Just like every Jake Paul fight, nobody really wins and you feel bad for even hearing about it.

Nearly 70% of Planned Parenthood clinics are in medically underserved areas. They're vital to women's health across the country. Republicans and a radical Supreme Court shouldn't make health care decisions for the millions of women who rely on @ppfa.org for essential services.

Despicable. Thousands of people rely on Planned Parenthood for cancer screenings and pap smears, STI testing, and so many more essential services. Women should not be penalized for needing reproductive health care.

The Supreme Court just cleared the way for states to defund Planned Parenthood—while Republicans push a bill to shut down 1 in 3 clinics. Millions on Medicaid rely on Planned Parenthood for cancer screenings, birth control, and basic care. This is healthcare sabotage. #MedicaidSavesOurLives

SCOTUS just made it easier for states to block millions of people from accessing life-saving care — like cancer screenings, STI testing, and more. This move is a major step toward completely defunding Planned Parenthood. This is how abortion access gets taken away, without an outright ban.

A reminder of just what Planned Parenthood provides the American people, & what SCOTUS just voted that states can defund: 🔹️contraception 🔹️emergency contraception 🔹️vasectomy 🔹️tubal ligation 🔹️hysterectomies 🔹️vaccines 🔹️STI testing 🔹️HIV PrEP & PEP 🔹️STI treatment 🔹️cancer screenings (like... 1/3

We can’t be afraid to call this what it is: dangerous. The court’s decision puts lives at risk by stripping basic healthcare from low-income families who rely on Planned Parenthood through Medicaid.

Planned Parenthood does a lot of stuff for women including giving us access to birth control. Republicans hate freedom. They don’t want women to decide when or if to have children. They want us barefoot and prego, not educated or in the workforce. Because they’re fascist misogynists.

I am shocked shocked shocked that Trump lied

so @aoc.bsky.social going after murdoch media... YOU. LOVE. TO. SEE. IT.

It's so interesting how Vote Blue No Matter who goes out the window the minute the left wins a Democratic primary. Gillibrand refusing to endorse the Democratic nominee for mayor of New York City is a fire-able offense. She's corrupted by crypto, AIPAC and billionaire interests. She's got to go.

Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, has sent a letter to Pam Bondi calling for Zohran Mamdani to be stripped of his citizenship and deported.

The Republican Party is the verminous, bigoted party of ignorance and anti-Americanism, striving to turn this into a totalitarian blood-and-soil shithole.

On a day that the news includes SCOTUS fucking up Planned Parenthood, Congress fulminating about the Senate tax bill and disputes about accuracy in war news, what does the Washington Post's "Post Most" lead off with?

I'm often asked what Democratic politicians can do to learn from pro wrestling and combat Republican neokayfabe The simplest answer to that question is just, "Practice doing Dusty Rhodes's 1985 'Hard Times' promo in front of the mirror every morning until you really MEAN it" 🗣️ #wrestlesky #polisky
