Elon threatening to just leave people on the ISS is making a pretty good case for why you nationalize your space program!

WATCH: During a hearing, GOP Sen. Josh Hawley presented a chart claiming Trump was victimized by injunctions—only to be dismantled by legal scholar (and wife of Chris Hayes) Kate Shaw.

"We sounded the alarm on Elon Musk and DOGE’s fake fraud claims — and now, [SSA] is changing its policy," @warren.senate.gov just told me. "That’s a win, and we’ll keep up the pressure to fight back against Trump and Musk’s attack on Americans’ Social Security benefits."

Always amazes me that in the US, the party that's supposed to know that everything is socially constructed acts as if opinions about immigration are like the Jet Stream flowing in instead of being hothoused across some of the largest media conglomerates in the country.

While this is clearly unconstitutional (congress isn't approving these budget shifts, and funded programs that were part of passed budgets are being passed over or defunded,) it begs the question of what happens when this dictator is deposed. Will the next government also simply fund what it wants?

Every book published in the United States is sent to the Library of Congress. Also, if you are under 16 you cannot use the reading room or order books.

DOGE will be considered one of the most disastrous and misguided boondoggles in U.S. history

i will never get past this. the collapse of the global trade system because one guy does not understand what a trade deficit is.

I stay healthy by carefully looking at my food to spot any bacteria. Also I know it’s OK if the guy at the grocery store is nice.

There is no bipartisanship possible with Republicans while they refuse to exercise the lawful powers of Congress and impeach an obviously corrupt President. Any D cooperating with them on ANYTHING is betraying the country.

Sometimes stats do a really good job of telling a story.

I went to the Senate floor to tell a story about Trump’s first 100 days - a story of daily, norm shattering corruption. I laid out 40 different corrupt acts - each one alone could have taken down previous presidents. 1/ A 🧵 of my speech. People need to know this story.

This is a new image from #JWST. The bright points with spikes are stars in the Milky Way. Everything else is a galaxy. Everything. Else. Is. A. Galaxy.

EXCLUSIVE: Two DOGE employees have access to a network used to transmit classified nuclear weapons data and a separate network used by the Department of Defense, sources tell NPR.

BREAKING: @aclu.org says Trump deported a child (U.S. citizen) with metastatic cancer without medication or consultation with physicians. This is the second child with cancer he's deported. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol... @rollingstone.com

Is this the part when MAGA tells me to “cry harder” or nah?

Al gore is pissed off and I’m here for it

And the hits just keep coming

Byron Donalds's use of whataboutism to defend Pete Hegseth on CNN did not go well for him

Remember those piece of shit private security guards who violently dragged a woman out of a GOP town hall in Idaho back in February? They’ve finally been charged.

The Red Hats are coming, the Red Hats are coming!

Remember, this is actually the end of the story. The rest is illegal.

Trump’s nominee to run the IRS, Representative Billy Long, had a six-figure debt paid off by campaign donors, all of whom happen to have tax issues with the IRS.

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read. He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

No biggie. This man is temporarily in charge of, and Trump wants to put him permanently in charge of, one of the two United States Attorney’s offices that handle the most national-security matters. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

"Within minutes after DOGE accessed the NLRB's systems, someone with an IP address in Russia started trying to log in. The attempts were 'near real-time'... "Whoever was attempting to log in was using one of the newly created DOGE accounts..." www.npr.org/2025/04/15/n...

The United States sent possibly innocent men to a foreign prison without a hearing ... and put a convicted felon who led a violent coup against the Constitution in the White House.

"Everybody is wasting their time if they’re trying to triangulate the best possible outcomes of actions...At a moment like this, convincing yourself that prudence demands you fight later is tantamount to giving yourself permission to fight never." www.thebulwark.com/p/two-dictat...

Criminals deserve due process because due process is literally how we determine whether someone is, *in fact*, a criminal

New records reveal that Marjorie Taylor Greene bought thousands of dollars in stock right before Trump’s tariff pause announcement caused markets to surge.

Calm down, folks, it was just an attempted assassination of a Jewish Democratic governor and his family on the first night of Passover, it’s not like somebody spray painted a dick on a Cybertruck.
