New blog post and a look at a highly readable (and recommended) tome from @jesperjuul.bsky.social on the Commodore 64 - tantobieinternettattler.blogspot.com/2025/05/too-...

'Space Invaders on your wrist: the glory years of Casio video game watches' is a brilliantly nostalgic piece by Keith Stuart www.theguardian.com/games/2025/m...

In response to the Polygon and Giant Bomb news, I created an indie and worker-owned games media starter pack. I’ll keep adding to it, so suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Please share!

Look who has arrived! And checking out their appearance all the way back in Fusion 38 @shaunaitcheson.bsky.social

The disregard -if not outright hostility- toward video game preservation isn't just infuriating; it's genuinely baffling. Here's an article on Tim Cain being "ordered to destroy" his personal archive of Fallout's development 🔽 www.gamesradar.com/games/fallou...

Nearly 18 months after its initial release, The Sirena Expedition has finally hit 100 reviews on Steam, 82% of which are positive! It didn't make the kind of splash I was hoping it would, but I'm happy that it's still reaching people after all this time.

New arrival this morning, purchased following a review in the latest issue of ZZAP! 64 from Fusion Retro Books. I’ll have my own review of this fine looking tome by @jesperjuul.bsky.social on the blog in due course.

Launching a brand-new magazine covering the entire world of cult television, and everything adjacent? When we have Blake's 7 Magazine and a Series C Production Diary on the horizon? I mean, that's just foolish, right? And yet, here we are...

Testing the Ajax tv game - it’s running, I can hear the tell-tale sounds of pong, but no picture - I think something is running slightly out of spec. The controller is suffering from bad cable burn, which is why you shouldn’t wrap your cords around plastic retro consoles kids #RetroGaming
