A beautiful day, in many ways.

Stumbled on the remarkable Tagensbo Kirke in Nordvest København (architect Hans Christian Hansen, 1970), stumbled on the organist, tucked away in his office, who opened the church, switched on the lights, and left us alone to enjoy.

I decided to read the 8 shortlisted articles & finished the final one last night. What fine pieces! And, in many cases, brave, taking on topics likely to raise the ire of those who see history as a fertile field for culture wars. How encouraging to have fine, brave young historians coming through.
