I have a big international trip later this year. Last night, I had a dream that flying home from the trip, my flight took us to Philadelphia instead of Washington DC. Fortunately, I checked and it lands at IAD, but yeah.... this trip can't come soon enough.

Despite this being my first #fabtcg event qualified on ELO, I’ll be missing US Nationals for the first time since 2022. Timing just didn’t work out this year. While I’ll admit I’m glad I don’t have to deal with the stress, of the logistics and the rush to practice, I wish all my friends good luck!

Armory at CardArt in Sunnyvale, CA. There were 7 of us surrounded by YuGiOh players. Ended up with a Bye, Loss to Jarl, and Win to Cindra as Rhinar again. The Jarl game was really close, decided by two scabs rolls to 1 in a row. #armoryrecap #fabtcg

We have an update template with a 'highlights' and a 'lowlights' section. My contribution of the day was suggesting that it's okay to include items that don't fit into either of those, thus changing the template to add a third section.

Note to self: when buying audiobooks, start with the first one in the series rather than getting the whole batch at once.... that way, you don't accidentally end up realizing that you've already read them all when you finally get to listening and the refund period has already passed.

A tale of three Risottos. Before London, Abigail and I spent a week in Italy. Milanese risotto is yellow because of the saffron they use, Verona’s is purple because of the locally-grown wine they add, and Venice’s has seafood. They were all delicious, regional, and totally unique.
