Just won’t win many games when your All-Star backcourt shoots 6-26 from the floor.

Donovan Mitchell will start tonight. Sam Merrill is OUT with a back strain. #Cavs will be without one of their key bench players, but it won’t matter if the starters don’t show out. #NBASky

Nico Harrison doesn’t deserve this.

Donovan Mitchell said after Game 4 that he expects to play in tomorrow night’s do-or-die Game 5. I’ll believe him on that, despite the “game time decision” tag.

Technically, there were winners and losers in last night’s #Cavs game. There were just a lot more from one team than the other.

Whether the #Cavs have Donovan Mitchell for Game 6 or not, it’s pretty clear they as a team haven’t exorcised their playoff demons. And I’m not sure they ever will.

#Cavs Kenny Atkinson said Donovan Mitchell will have an MRI on his left ankle, where they'll learn more about the injury.

The Cavs just won’t beat the fraudulent allegations.

The Cavs picked a *very* inopportune time to have their worst game of the season.

The Cavs are 4-15 from deep, have 11 turnovers, and - perhaps worst of all - don’t seem like they have the energy to figure anything out.

The Cavs have their work cut out for them. They get a break with Mathurin ejected, but the offense looks clunky and the defense isn’t as stifling. Really, really need something from Darius and Ty.

The Cavs first two-point basket comes with less than 90 seconds in the first quarter.

Three fouls on Sam Merrill, two on Garland.

Benedict Mathurin has been ejected. Techs on De’Andre Hunter and Myles Turner. Stills 4 minutes left in the first quarter.

Darius Garland has to be better if the Cavs want to win this series.

Darius Garland didn’t play well. Ty Jerome really didn’t play well. Dean Wade and De’Andre Hunter were a -29. Cavs won by 22. Plenty of room to play better, still.

The “save us Donovan” gameplan isn’t sustainable, but man it’s fun to watch when he’s cooking. The Cavs have an 8-2 run and the Pacers need timeout.

Ty Jerome is a -15 in seven minutes of court time. The Cavs need him now with Darius Garland walking gingerly to the bench.

The Cavs are absolutely torturing the Pacers on the offensive glass.

The Cavaliers are outscoring the Pacers by 32 points in the 17:16 that Ty Jerome did not play in the first half

Four fouls on Darius Garland is a big deal. Might not see him again until late in the third/early fourth quarter. Might not need him either, as the Cavs are up 21.

The #Cavs get their rotation back. Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and De’Andre Hunter will play tonight in a huge Game 3.

Darius Garland (toe), Evan Mobley (ankle), and De’Andre Hunter (thumb) are AVAILABLE tonight for the #Cavs in Game 3 against the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. #NBASky

Posting again for the morning crowd: The #Cavs are good enough to send this series back to Cleveland tied 2-2. But they need to show they’ve moved past the last few playoff failures. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

The #Cavs look like a team that hasn’t changed much from their previous two playoff trips. That needs to change in Game 3, or it might be game over.

Turns out missing 3 rotation players, 2 All-Stars, is a big deal. Man, what this Cavs team could’ve been if healthy. A huge bummer.

That is a brutal, brutal end.

Never mind.

Max Strus may have saved the season.

Garland, Mobley, and Hunter probably aren’t playing. It’s a next man up game for the Cavs, in a must-win scenario.

Kenny Atkinson won NBA Coach of the Year. Now, the #Cavs will need him to pull all the right strings tonight in a must-win Game 2. My preview, at Fear the Sword:

No sign of Darius Garland, Evan Mobley or De’Andre Hunter here after shootaround.

#Cavs list De'Andre Hunter (right thumb sprain), Evan Mobley (left ankle sprain) and Darius Garland (left great toe sprain) all as questionable for tomorrow's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers.

Holy Daniel Schneemann

Zach Lowe on his podcast: “If that Heat series had been competitive, I think he (Darius Garland) would have played.”

There is, and always will be, one Gregg Popovich.

The Knicks are not good. The Pistons know this and aren’t phased by any deficit. They know they can bring it back.

After all the jawing through the media, Tyler Herro hit one more shot than Darius Garland did tonight. Darius Garland did not play.
