The organizers of Pride have outdone themselves this year.

I do like this capsule review of "Warrior". Not only does it neatly summarize the story (and the reviewer says nice things about it in a follow-up comment), but it's exciting to see the book mentioned at all. I suppose I'd better write the sequel (which is actually a prequel) now.

For Caturday, this is our current foster, Maria (also known as Chaos Plushie). She is very sweet, very soft, and made of chaos. Most notable achievement to date: stepping on a sticky moth trap while exploring a closet, then running through the apartment in a panic with it stuck to her foot.

I am a firm believer in due process, but if Elon gets sent to El Salvador, I may never stop laughing.

I'm eyeing an allies-to-villains arc for the Dems.

Happy Pride Month to all

This was the first of @richardkadrey.bsky.social’s books that I read & it’s still one of my favorites. Splashy, brutal, colorful, witty cyberpunk set in a future as fucked-up as our present but much more fun. “I am here by the will of the people … and I will not leave until I get my raincoat back.”
