We went to the National Tiger Sanctuary, south of Springfield! Definitely go and support them if you can! All the animals appeared very well-cared for and loved.

I’m back from my trip to the Ozarks! Here are my learnings: - I do not have a single Southern bone in my body. I can’t even say “y’all” convincingly. - Being a vegetarian where nobody knows how to eat vegetables is difficult. The regional diet appears to be entirely meat and sugar. - Armadillos.

I went to a tiny rural post office, and the clerk there said “hey I gotta show you something!” Apparently some raccoons broke in, ate some snacks that were left out, drank out of the toilet, and tore up the back staff room. He refuses to wash their paw prints off the wall as a reminder of the chaos.
