"Here’s the costing Angus Taylor isn’t sharing," writes economics editor Patrick Commins. "The Coalition’s commitment to slash net migration by 100,000 from next year will smash a $24bn hole in the budget. […] It shatters the Coalition’s pitch as better economic managers."

I've been volunteering handing out how-to-vote cards at elections since 2007 (Kevin07). It's interesting that Labor, Greens & Independent candidates' volunteers will help one another, directing voters to the card they want. The Liberals volunteers every election: bullyboy tactics #auspol #AusVotes25

Looks like QLD LNP & Crisafullashyte hve decided that health isn’t as important as coal & new stadiums LNP cut funding on clinics. Cut funding for new cancer clinic. Slowed or stopped new hospital builds & extensions. Reneged on those 2200 new hospital beds by 2028. Numpties get what they vote for

When you hear the Federal Opposition bleating, 'Mediscare' incorrectly, this is what Health Minister, Mark Butler, correctly, told the National Press Club today..

A reminder that Andrew Hastie - despite his natty haircut - is anti-gay marriage & comes from a family of deeply religious creationists, with a father who has quite the track record of patronising women Young Andrew also isn't helped by the fact he has the intellect of a bag of two week old turnips

Dutton is doing as he's told by his bosses #auspol #DontRiskDutton

A slap in the face or a slap on the back? Peabody Mines pays peanuts for polluting one of Australia’s most beloved National Parks.

More candidate strife for Peter Dutton with Scott Yung Bennelong Easter egg handout. "It is unacceptable for any member of the public to hand out Easter eggs, lollies or any other consumable to children outside a school." NSW education states. #ausvotes www.skynews.com.au/australia-ne...

In November when Trump won office Dutton and the LNP particularly Michaelia Cash were all on board the Trump train with Jacinta Price spewing Make Australia Great Again slogans but now with Trump stupidly tanking the world economy they are not only lacking policy they are Trump flip fopping

I've been fact checking Dutton's claim that grocery bills have gone up 30% (nope more like 12%) And Ted O'Briend's number that power bills have gone up $1,300 (nope more like $500-$600). Check out the live blog for all the reality rather than the crap live.australiainstitute.org.au/2025/04/aust...

Are we witnessing the end of US global economic leadership as we know it or is this just a tactical setback in a much longer game? #auspol #USpolitics

Cost-of living crisis can originally b attributed to Coalition govt It began in 2021 -& ended in 2023 ‘when wage rises exceeded inflation, spending on luxuries soared & multiple indicators of prosperity reached all-time highs’ Labor fixes. Coalition fcks up independentaustralia.net/business/bus...

People need to understand that the Liberal Party has a culture where lies, misrepresentation and manipulation are just means to political power ends.

Liberals Party women problems are always on display #auspol

The LNP don't like their own words repeated back to them, which is why they're infuriated by this ad. Which is also why you should share it.

Peter Dutton's wife was wrong... He IS a monster. #election2025 #auspol

Has anyone else noticed, the Coalition housing policy is one that pushes up prices, increases debt, destroys retirement savings. #auspol www.abc.net.au/news/2025-04...

Dutton mocks Labor's tax cuts not coming into force until next year but somehow he is able to overlook his own promise of lower power prices which will not take effect for in excess of 10 years. Does this eejit think we are all stoopid? #auspol www.thenewdaily.com.au/federal-budg...

Treasury analysis shows Queensland households would be $8,900 worse off under Dutton. #Auspol #Australia #Queensland #AusVotes25

Gina and Peter, all the way #auspol #Australia #Politics #AusVotes25

I just keep thinking of the heartlessness of going to an election promising to sack 41,000 people just because they’ve chosen public service. The LNP talks of small business owners going out of business as a tragedy. How is sending thousands of people into unemployment not?

And there you have it. From the horse’s mouth.

I'm still struggling to accept that Colin Boyce, our local Fed LNP member stood on stage at out Aus Day Awards & Naturalisation ceremony & made a bigger point of thanking the coal, gas, power & industrial workers than he did of recognising the award recipients & new Australians.

LNP polis on 7 this morning. Joyce gave criminals the go ahead with his take on the Voice & the popularity of Australia Day. "Lefty intellectuals pushing morals onto people have caused the mainstream to push back." Seems like a good excuse for crims, too. "Hey, we don't accept the usual morals."

It's interesting how debt is only an issue if Labor runs it up. $271bn when LNP came to power was a disaster apparently. $1trn under LNP wasn't newsworthy. No surpluses under LNP. Smaller than forecast surplus under Labor is another disaster. And we buy this crap from the media #auspol
