Starting to repost moments of inspiring leadership. May we each step into whatever version of this we’re able to

This is @misernyc.bsky.social's rally on Saturday ... and it's on the Streetsblog calendar (are you checking it regularly): nyc.streetsblog.org/calendar

Here is the pre-RFK vaccination schedule for your kids. Please download it before he is confirmed and changes/deletes it. Give it to your pediatrician and say this is the schedule you want your kids on. Making this my pinned post.

Disturbing but illuminating explanation of what’s happening right now.

For friends looking to move away from Substack due to their material support of Nazis, a thorough review of Ghost

I just called my bank and had them close my Visa debit card (replaced it with a non-Visa debit card), and I emailed Visa at [email protected] to let them know why.

NYC folks! Check it out

Glitter in the gears!

What Ubuweb said.

1. I keep saying this, but it’s important to try to slow things down. It’s something that the Democrats really don’t get. You can win a war by losing every battle slowly.

EMERGENCY PIECE: Previous reports that Musk's DOGE programmers only have "read only" access is inaccurate. I can confirm what @wired.com first reported at 1 AM today that they have Read & WRITE access with a source in BFS referring to this as "apocalyptic" www.crisesnotes.com/day-five-of-...

This is enlightening

Wired is doing incredible reporting right now, and needs support. Just got a digital AND print subscription for $6 for A WHOLE YEAR

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

Having watched with growing alarm the developments of the last 24 and 36 hours in Washington, I thought I’d take a stab at how the US media would cover this story if it was happening in a foreign country. Here’s that story that should be written this weekend: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/musk-s-jun...

Do Not Comply In Advance: bossy, already a cliche, implies permission to comply later Fuck You, Make Me: leads by example, directs yelling at opposition instead of allies, easy to chant at a protest or put on a banner

I mean, literally, the answer to this is "I am federally prohibited from telling you anything about my students without a subpoena or judicial warrant; if you have a subpoena or judicial warrant, please submit it to [Legal Officer/Office] to ensure it is in compliance with all relevant federal laws"

Assuming we make it through the next couple of decades, this will be an incredible image for future historians/students of the Trump era

Once more: throwing sand in the gears is also resistance. Hats off to these librarians, and may they inspire you to some malicious compliance.
