It's impossible to overstate just how integral he was to shaping the identity of the show. He composed a frankly absurd amount of truly iconic music, but if I had to pick just one piece of his, I'd go with the ending theme so beautiful that the crew convinced Fox not to dub over it with ad-spiel.
