I am starting to think, that democracies that openly reassure people that noone will be sent to war, and we have no intentions of ever doing that, are at a disadvantage against dictatorships that can threathen to embrace imperialist conquest. the whole concept of elections presupposes more than 1 viable candidate. If there is only one viable candidate, there is no choice, and no discussion to be had, but the discussions are happening. I think this breaks people's brains, and forces them to conside people like trump as viable candidates.

Everyone who talks about gaza, and doesn't signal boost the recent anti-hamas prostests, is extremely dishonest about the cause they support. The only future palestinians have, is without hamas in power. Supporting palestinian people in their liberation from hamas, should be a top priority.
