I will stop posting until I figure out a way to coördinate posting between Mastodon and BlueSky. Makes me kind of regret going here. The whole idea of decentralization would ideally necessitate that a single account would suffice… It’s a shame Mastodon and BlueSky are not interoperable.

I’m generally a fan of the “Moderation lists” approach where you can decide what moderation to trust. Unfortunately I have no actual reasons to be a fan of the approach. I just like it abstractly.

OK, I’m very used to being able to edit posts. List of grievances: 1. Internal Server Error 2. No TOTP 2FA (as far as I can tell) 3. Editing a post is not blocked while it’s uploading 4. You can’t edit a post afterwards 5. Editing reinserts removed embeds

I’m noticing a persistent prejudice against BlueSky¹ in myself. It’ll be difficult to judge BlueSky¹ fairly. My first impressions are that the BlueSky website¹ is very good and impressively fully-featured. But I’ve already run into a few bugs. ¹specifically, bsky.app / bsky.social.
