Also, I was today years old, and only now have I found out about galloping as a rapping flow. O_O Now I just need to find a video that explains it for especially thick people (being me atm). Which seems to be harder than it sounds (no pun intended, but I'll leave it in).

Today was the last day at a dayjob. It was a year and 10 months long lesson of how I can't do things just for the money, I also need to feel some form of "I did something for a result today" on rather regular basis.

I often check comments on all sorts of food threads I stumble upon on bsky because who knows what one will find. E.g. I discovered sausage and apple as a thing, I'm yet to make it myself, but the idea's already in my head. There's been other tips 'n tricks I've used. And today I stumbled onto this:

Kitto likes to facepalm when hearing my work meetings

Tonight, after watching another episode of Andor season 2 on Disney, I started reading the episode descriptions. I am quite sure those are written by a poet. They read like poems, especially if one considers each full stop as a line break. Very nice, very nice indeed.

***/dolls was I ever real to you or did all my personality sparks just drown in this illusion of your favourite woman so many people don’t pay attention to details on regular basis so they forget to notice the moment they stopped being real

I have a playlist with songs for vocal inspiration. As I practice spoken word stuff, it mainly consists of rappers and melodic speaking examples. However, it also includes Sisters of Mercy, Rob Dougan, and Peter Gabriel.

Today I’m going to meet some people I want to leave a good first impression on. Therefore I’m wearing long and flowing skirt on a windy day, red tights and white skater shoes. I’m normal, I say to myself. Maybe it’s better that they find out early.

Generally in life I am the Northern Waterthrush. I also own a pair of white sneakers and a pair of beige heels to empathise this.

When you write poetry, you also make sure to mention details from your day to day, like having a moth on the balcony door, right?

On a more practical level: stuff I didn't think I'd miss whilst recovering from dental surgery - seed bread.

Today's investment in the music industry: I bought the virtual instrument commonly known as Mini Grand. Money well spent.

It's easy to get from F minor 1st inversion to F minor 7 chord and immediately go for D minor 7b5, but then what?

"So, the procedure went more or less ok," is not what one wants to hear from their dentist. However, *tinted* protective glasses is something I strongly approve of. Finally! Gone are the days when one must be blinded by all the lights during dental exams and procedures.

Stuff on my mind today: 1. I really need to start following more Europeans - nothing in my feed about the power outages. 2. my Czech book has a lot of adult themed lessons - but only the really depressing ones, e.g. how to write a CV, what to expect at the council and other bureaucratic tasks.

Sometimes when I make myself some food, I look at the plate that I've sat down with and think to myself: "I just wanted something to put mayo on, didn't I." And every time this happens, I remember what my Neighbour once said: "I really like mayo. I know everyone says that, but I Really _Like_ Mayo."

Growing carrots on a tropical island.

It's weird when I think about the fact that climate change is a huge part of why and how I got into music. Because there's no way I could keep hiking all the (free) time.

Bandmate: I wrote this bass line today **plays** Me: wow, that’s a fun one, I like it. B: Oh btw, I can give you this drum beat if you want. **plays** Me: yes, please! **listens** yes, yes! I have a proj for it! B: good. It doesn’t go with the bass, but I thought you might want it. Me: totally!

When the pandemic lockdowns hit, I started cutting my own hair. I haven’t really stopped, by which I mean that my haircut is never finished as I don’t have the patience to do it all in one go. I use the kitten method - tidy up here one day, cut more there another day, etc.

What did I do yesterday? I bled all over the nurse's desk. But she started it by pricking me. Today I have a bruise on my middle finger.
