A Happy 45th Anniversary to 'The Shining', released on this very day in 1980, becoming one of the GREATEST horror movies ever made. Based on Stephen King's novel, it stars Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall (1949-2024) & Danny Lloyd. A sequel, 'Doctor Sleep', was released in November 2019.
