Yes, we have a newborn. Yes, we have visitors every week to meet the baby. Yes, we decided now was perfect to host our entire forensic division for a cookout. Yes, by we I mean I, & Jen agreed bc she’s chill (& maybe a bit sleep-deprived). Anyway the brine has started for Saturday’s feast.

I’m so relieved that, despite all these cuts & attacks on science, UNM’s forensic postdoc fellowship has doubled in size (2 postdocs to 4) and was still able to increase funding for all fellows this upcoming year.
