You know that trend ‘sometimes I forget that this is the whole point’? I had a lot of those moments this weekend with my kiddo’s dance recital. What a weekend. Also so glad extra curriculars are done for the summer. We all need a break!

Anyone have any tried and true ways to get through matted hair? I was away for work for three days and my daughter’s hair is the worst I’ve seen it. We’ve tried the comb and detangling spray, conditioner, Wet brush, etc.

Currently at a conference in Montreal. Total introvert mode - and skipping all the networking breaks in favour of my quiet room or outdoor walks. I WILL go back down early this time though. That’s the goal anyway.

My 8yo trying to convince me to adopt a sibling for her- ‘when they’re my age, I will be able to drive’. ‘Oh I wouldn’t expect you to drive a sibling around.’ Her: ‘No, I’d drive myself around. If I don’t get a sibling, I won’t. You will have to drive me.’ Ya, still not happening.

My kiddo (8) is allergic to eggs and has anxiety about people having eggs near her. Now they’re doing a science experiment in class where each kid has an egg soaking in vinegar and water on their desks. And it’s their week to eat in the classroom. Make this make sense to me…
