I listened to a text-to-speech recording of the Independence Day prequel book, Silent Zone, in preparation for June’s episode of @tqperfectten.bsky.social, so you know it’s gonna be an interesting one.

“Without widespread theft, my industry can’t survive” is an argument against your industry surviving, and is not an argument for allowing widespread theft

This is an incredible page. Comics fucking rule.

The Internet: STOP REMAKING EVERYTHING!!! Also The Internet: YOU MADE THE REMAKE DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL THING!!!

Lilo & Stitch time! I don’t care what anyone else is saying, good or bad. I just love going to the movies with my girls. 🥰

Just needs a forehead kiss from the King of Naboo

Please don't look away. Please don't stop calling this what it is.

It’s here for all to enjoy! @fangirling0nly.bsky.social and I talk The Rocketeer, punching Nazis, and why we need sincere, genuine heroes right now.

Please save us, Senpai.

Be super rad if someone could come do these dishes for me so I can go play video games instead.

Watched another episode of TNG tonight and it was genuinely heartbreaking. As emotionally effective as anything I’ve ever watched. I’m doubling down on this take. I’ll die on this hill.

Cassie (5) told us the other night that when she grows up she wants to be a writer. She wants to make tv shows like Gravity Falls. And Kara (8) wants to be a professional dancer and instructor. So I can proudly say that I’ve done a fantastic job screwing up both my kids so bad they wanna be artists.

It's Bigger Than Alex Graham's Comic: An Instagram post has stirred up a hornet's next of controversy by suggesting that comics by marginalized groups are overrated

This has a criminally low view count. Go watch it right now!!!

When I watched Star Wars Rebels, I don’t know why, but I always assumed the Ghormans were non-human. Like, distinctly non-human… and that Mon Mothma making the call to action their massacre was a stance of unity for all species and races in the galaxy, like the Republic stood for.

Disagree if you want, but Star Trek: The Next Generation is a better television show than Andor.

It costs $0.00 to keep your mouth shut and not tell fans they’re wrong for feeling the very obvious subtext that you apparently disagree with.

"If you inherited a movie theater, what's your first double feature?" It’s the “Not-Star-Wars Star Wars” Double Feature! I fucking love both these movies and have never been lucky enough to see them on the big screen.

So glad that the new Star Wars Outlaws DLC dropped the same week as the Andor finale. I needed that palette cleanser.

I’m up past midnight, and by rite I must now consume a bowl of sugary cereal before I can go to bed. Thus commands the Code of All Dads.

Just bought the Minecraft movie in 4K, and holy moly! The VFX in this film are incredible. It looks amazing on my modest home setup. Not just the quality of the animation, but the integration of the live action characters into the world is honestly the best I’ve ever seen. This movie actually rules.

I studied film at the Art Institute of Vancouver-Burnaby 1. Most valuable takeaway? Formal Training < Skill and Passion < Nepotism. 2. Absolutely not worth the $30K I shelled out. Everything I make money at now, I taught myself through trial/error or tutorials. School didn’t help me at all.
