The latest house building stats for Scotland paints a damning picture - that the Scottish Government is CHOOSING to allow homelessness to get worse. Building more social housing is the only way to end the #HousingEmergency, and yet, new social home approvals and starts have hit a decade low. 🤯

Just ordered mine ❤️

If your MP is vocal on women’s rights but less so on disability, send them today’s Guardian story. Tell them charities have warned the disability cuts will have a “devastating” impact on women and could even breach the Equality Act.

So sad - Prof Palmer was a fierce advocate, bringing kindness and intelligence to all his work. He will be missed by so many.

Stone speaks in poetry. This was such a fun day, and quite the honour. The sun shone, tourist buses passed, and the Canongate Wall, which wreathes the Scottish Parliament with lines of poetry, now has three new plaques, craved by Gillian Forbes. Jackie Kay, Liz Lochead and me - sisters in verse.

This is so very sad - his work to care for drug users and to demand society show them respect has been an inspiration. He will be missed by so many but his fight continues
