What if the secret act at Glasto this year wasn't 'Patchwork' but 'Peppercorn'? Not Elton John, though. He did a couple of years back.

The problem is that everything always burns while I'm prepping the thumb-sized piece of ginger.

Good point from Rob here. “How do we get rid of the rewarding part of making something?”

Finally worked out what those asinine, vertical-space-wasting Meta AI buttons under sponsored Facebook posts remind me of.

Would love one of these immersive, twenty minute restoration videos to build to this.

Fantastic!

Gritty’s neighbours at this point, blissfully unaware, erecting their sun loungers just the other side of the far hedge.

Feels like a good day to post this. It would've almost certainly been terrible, given the state of Hanna-Barbera in 1977.

RIP Brian Wilson. Love this photo of him from 1974, which could easily have been taken in 1984, 1994 or 2004…

Candidate are playing two gigs at The Harrison pub in Kings Cross on the 24th and 25th July. Come along! Thu 24 July: wegottickets.com/event/660657 Fri 25 July: wegottickets.com/event/660658

This morning’s reading. Still so funny.

Oh, to hell with it. Who wants my Unbound incompetence story! Yay!

As a customer it’s incredibly frustrating how hard it is to simply pay money to a creator for something they’ve made, without tech idiots intercepting it like seagulls after chips.

What if the make-it-up-as-they-go-along business model that AI companies are heading towards is one where we have to pay them NOT to include our intellectual property in their deep learning models? Like cyber extortion?

I reckon there’s room for a ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ type show for middle-aged men where they’re just trying on L or XL t-shirts.

We’re playing two gigs over two nights this July at The Harrison in King’s Cross, London. It’s been a blast dusting off some of the old songs at the last few gigs, so expect more to come.

If you fancy some signed books, including some hardback copies of Be Funny Or Die salvaged from the Unbound explosion, and a load of lovely Ladybirds, including the ones you probably didn’t even know existed, then I’ve opened a little shop. Tuck in! www.gralefrit.co.uk/shop.html

“Although it often looked like it, I wasn’t actually in The Beatles.”

This was a ton of fun. Twenty minutes’ gorgeousness for you. youtu.be/G_-DftINZKg?...

Veteran etsy seller and top cartoonist @taylertoons.bsky.social advised me I need to promote my etsy shop more, and politely engage with my potential customers. Ok, worth a shot I suppose.. Hey dickheads, signed prints available here: HealeyCartoons.etsy.com

Looks like my DHL driver's doing this trip in reverse gear. Could be a while.
