Poor Gerard is a racist Twitter troll who thinks he may be "in trouble". You can't even take part in a duet incessant racist harassment from 1am to 3am on a Friday night *these days* without putting your [sixth] account at risk, after his racist troll partner finally went too far even for Elon Musk.

No one has ever LinkedIn this hard. I am CRINE.

Was at a conference dinner a while back and one guy said "The future is AI. It doesn't replace senior developers, but no more need for juniors." To which i replied: "Where do you think senior developers come from. Straight from the womb?" He went quiet, then wandered off to a different huddle.

Absolutely insane levels of stupid if you watch the whole thing.

What are 3 things that a party of government which wanted "to celebrate the collapse of the era of globalisation" would do? - Would it put up tariffs on cars, instead of trying to get the USA to reduce tariffs?

Too shitty for Piers Morgan is very shitty indeed.

Mike Pence is smarter than Sensible Medicine doctors

Just learned today that 92% of US import consumption is dolls for beautiful little girls. Higher than I would have expected!

It was always performative outrage.

It is quite incredible the extent to which Trump is routinely held to a lower standard than every other politician. This would pretty much end the career of any other national leadership candidate in any western democracy, except none would ever do it - at all, still less during a mourning period

This isn't hypothetical. The coming days are bringing higher prices and disrupted supply chains, this time not because of a pandemic or a war, but self-inflicted by our country's government under this president.

I've encountered a few people arguing that tariffs are good, actually, because they will force us to consume less and while I think our consumer culture is problematic in many ways, I don't think things such as 'food' and 'medical supplies' fall under the category of unnecessary purchases.

I know of several boys in my kids' circles who are obsessed with gym because they think you have to absolutely shredded to stand any chance of getting a girlfriend. Very much blame the Andrew Tate tendency and hope they see this. Also, as piece says there's nothing wrong with gym either... per se
