It was mother's day yesterday and the only thing I could think about was a post that pointed out that, if we hadn't spent so much time fearing trans ppl, we could have had artificial or grown uteruses. I want to be a mother so badly, and I'll never get to do it the natural way 😭

It took me way too long to realize that the internalized sexism I got from movies was really bad. I learned that I could just wait out someone's feelings bc that's what male centered media teaches you. I lost a lot of friends to that mentality, and I'm ashamed it took me this long to figure it out.
