I like listening to these guys, but when they talk about how they “engage” on social media, it really reveals a lot. It’s surprising they even bother with it (outside of advertising), since they only seem interested in interacting with people already in their circle. youtu.be/rQ8ewTCye-Q?...

From my own experience the anxiety came from not living a life that was mine. And not being able to do that because I didn’t know what I value. I don't know what I valued because I had spent all my time watching others and mirroring their behavior in order to be accepted. ...

Flying in the dark? He deletes the message because he doesn’t want to stop flying. He thinks the results will tell him he is autistic…because he thinks he is autistic. He has been telling us since the first episode that he thinks he is autistic.

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

I imagine @jaketapper.bsky.social echo chamber looks like the Severance office where all images of Kier are replaced with images of Jake Tapper - even the carpet is Dartmouth green.

this week the telepathy tapes won “best indie podcast” at the webby awards. as the podcast continues to grow in audience and accolades, webworm discovers the podcast is little more than a platform for far-right, anti LGBTQI+ christians to push their loopy theology: www.webworm.co/p/trojanhorse

"What did they do?" -- Trump has no idea what he's signing and has to have it explained to him

Texas Republicans are back with the creepy “Furries Act”—a total waste of tax dollars and legislative time over a fake litter box conspiracy. If this were real, kids would be flooding social media with videos. They’re not. Because it’s nonsense.

Why on earth would a protest movement against the worst president in US history begin by acknowledging that he's not so bad www.nytimes.com/2025/05/01/o...

The Rehearsal season 2 is so good! So so so very good! Incredibly original and flawlessly executed. #theRehearsal

I want politics to be about a better everyday life. Here's what that can look like:

So what’s the rooming situation going to be at the work camps…sorry…Wellness Farms? Singles? Maybe a double with my partner? She will be there as well, and you don’t need to worry about procreation (been there done that), so I assume a coed living situation would be cool with y’all.

On the 14th anniversary of Musk promising a man on Mars in 10 years I hope all of the Tesla investors are enjoying this Q1 Financial Results webcast.

This is some of the most insightful political and cultural analysis I've heard in a decade.

“He has risen” Well while he is up i think there might be a lengthy to do list for him.

We? WTF is wrong with you?

Every accusation is a confession.

Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski says the quiet part out loud: “We are all afraid… I am oftentimes very anxious about using my voice because retaliation is real.”

There are two types of people in the world. Those that need their ass kissed and those willing to kiss ass. That’s one group. Then there is everyone else. These guys are in that first group.

@joshrogin.bsky.social was right, and Maher knows he’s right, which is why Maher was so defensive. Maher is just another chump used by Musk and Trump to normalize their authoritarian regime. I hope Billy eventually finds someone or something to love besides himself.

Evidently "facilitate" means "do jack-shit". The inability for our leaders to do the right thing, when the right thing is so obvious, is something to remember when this is over. Structural changes need to made to ensure we "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity"
