I'm under the impression that WCW's biggest show of the year, their version of WrestleMania, was Starrcade. Was that always true? In 1991, with all the Lethal Lottery matches, that doesn't seem like a company doing their biggest show of the year. If it wasn't Starrcade, then what was it? 🤼‍♀️

All In has already sold well over 10x as many tickets as the capacity for the GAB venue. By the day of the show it could realistically be 20x or even 30x. If anyone's flipping back and forth between the 2 shows, NXT's only going to suffer by comparison.

Right now, I almost see the counterprogramming as WWE having to play defense rather than trying to hurt AEW. What would happen if WWE left their fans with no wrestling to watch on the Saturday, and some of them decided to check out All In? They'd stand a good chance of losing those fans.

Saw a guy wearing a Maple Leaf Pro ball cap on the subway this morning. MLP did just run a show here, but it's still surprising because it's so rare nowadays to see anyone wearing wrestling stuff out in the wild. Like, I've never even seen anyone wearing AEW merch outside of a show.
