Have you got Hi8 Video Tapes in your Home Movies or Archive? Check & see if they are Fuji. They seem to very susceptible to Tape Mould. This is the third lot in as many months. They bind & grow mould under the spool Get them Digitised, quickly PS - £25 per tape for hand cleaning was “excessive”🤷‍♂️

Typical Thrift Store finds in WNC. Off the 200 odd LPs in Goodwill, approx half were this kinda thing. Tons of VHS too. All Disney or Religious Had he not been in process of moving, I’d have bought these back for @kaptkopter.bsky.social 😉
