Obviously this is gross but a minor point: generally student conduct offices will hold the diploma of any graduating senior with a pending conduct matter, smoking weed in the dorms, cheating, etc. It’s the only leverage they have to make somebody who doesn’t even go there to engage with them.

So my girlfriend has been using Chat GPT in a variety of ways to combat executive disfunction and it's been helpful so long as she imposes a lot of human intervention and quality control. She'd be an exponentially better evangelist for AI than any of these overzealous weirdos.
