My first game at Goodison was in 1989, just a little kid. I sat in the Upper Bullens and I remember just being in awe of the scale of everything. The pitch, the stands, the noise. Then the we scored, the Gwladys erupted, the stand shook, and I was hooked. What a place, will never be another like it.

No one outside the HD and EFC boards truly knows the value of the naming rights deal, but TFG have shown so far that they are financially astute so I trust that they got the best deal available to the club. The fact that HD are historically connected to the Liverpool docks is also nice.
