Prototyping an Arduino-based solution for monitoring hydraulic and air pressure for the air-over-hydraulic crimp tool. The tool is crimping a 646 DLO cable used in Liebherr's 240-tonne EV Mining Truck.

I live in Thousand Oaks, about 40 miles north of Los Angeles. Last year, my home insurance was 1,930. Just received renewal - 4,900. I do not live in a high-risk fire area. Farmers. The state mandates 17% increase per year. /1

Given the efforts to weaken the CDC, NIH, and university research, does the US have networks of scientists and biotech companies capable of addressing these challenges alone? If not, we could face a significant disaster in the US if this ever becomes transmissible.
