scientists consistently found that consumption of ice cream led to reduced risk for t2 diabetes and insulin resistance. They didn't want to believe this and buried the data in favor of yogurt when they published. Multiple scientists have tried to disprove the data since & it backfired every time.

From a gameplay perspective, "we received reports by users complaining about the politics in your game, so we are taking action against your game" creates a pretty strong incentive for brigading anything by anyone. I'm not sure that's a great call vs actual curation.
