Someone is on a TV series but in a movie. And we go to a movie but watch it on TV, and we attend plays. 🤷🏻‍♂️

On the one hand, The Time Tunnel ran only a single season. OTOH, that was *thirty episodes.*

Today is Irwin Allen's birthday, which is a very special day.

The secret to an enjoyable social media experience on here is to make real connections with incredible people, block quickly, and don’t be a fucking creepy asshole bent on destroying everything good in the world.

Today in "Is Los Angeles Burning?": No.

all about (or at least a little about) Tonys

Today is Anne Frank’s birthday. She started her diary on the 13th anniversary of her birth. It is one of the most important, inspiring, moving documents that exists.

Don't mix them up.

A thought or two about the Tonys—about the things themselves, not about who got 'em.

Rough brushwork to match a rough, strong fortress in ruins: Hadleigh Castle, 1828, by John Constable. His day has been today.

Panel members include literal strains of measles and polio.

Jaysus.

A Tonys thought or two:

My relatives keep asking me how we're doing in the riots. I say, you mean the police riots? Cuz no one else is rioting.

My work here is done

Double.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.
