Lol.

I’m going to make a thread about how the feds have changed their tactics here in Los Angeles because the community has forced them to adapt.

This thread seems like a great companion piece to the NYT article where they admit they don't even know if they got all (or even any) of their uranium stockpile. Diplomacy and deals have stopped more potential nukes than our bombs.

Strong feeling that Democratic leadership are DRAMATICALLY underestimating the desire amongst Democratic voters to punish the ICE thugs that are doing this. Voters want accountability, and this is going to boil over into D party fracture if @schumer.senate.gov keeps trying to ignore it

Some people get into journalism because they’re skeptical of power, and others do so because they’re impressed by it. Moments like this are clarifying with respect to who’s who.

Wow so you’re telling me everyone who cheered on the Iraq war is on board with this now too? And so are the people who opposed the Iran nuclear deal and killed it? You’re kidding.

Note to center left ("") governments in the UK and Australia: It's not clear if you are moral idiots or just idiots, but supporting Trump's campaign in Iran allows room for both. Wake up!

The United States is bombing Iran, but the real Ayatollahs are the professors at America’s elite universities.

I regret to inform you that the Oren's hummus guy is a terrible person. Surprisingly he is an actual Oren! I thought he was a marketing construct, but nooooooo. He had to be real and terrible.

note to keir starmer: Iraq destroyed blair's legacy & people liked him a lot more than they like you

Iran has learned its lesson. by Susan Collins

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people: 1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money 3) We won’t need a lot of troops 4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq 5) We’ll find WMDs 6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators 7) It will be easy 8) It won’t take long All lies.

Kinda feeling like the Woke Mob would be more on top of things, but what do I know.

AOC: “grounds for impeachment” Jeffries: “Trump needs to explain”

The President cannot declare war; this is a power reserved to the Congress. I expect our Congressional leadership to have read the Constitution, rather than writing a sternly worded press release in the wake of an illegal military action. How to utterly fail the moment and the people.

Netanyahu has spent the better part of two decades trying to strong arm the United States into an unprovoked war against Iran and finally found a president stupid enough to do it for him. Unbelievable.

A choir was singing today at Berkeley's Tesla Takedown. Always better with music! #TeslaTakedown #Berkeley @teslatakedown.com @tesla-takedown.bsky.social

It’s a good thing Congress isn’t alive to see this

Trump has no constitutional authority to take us to war with Iran without authorization from Congress, and Congress has not authorized it.

Friend asked why I was still doing #teslatakedown. I try to spend an hour at a Tesla protest every week. There are now protests here on Wed., Sat., and (now) on Mondays. My thinking here is that I am willing to spend this much of my time to ruin Elon Musk. Some weeks, it's huge. Others, less.
