I think it's because he's a rich pig who spent his time prior to this brutalizing the poor, collaborating with ICE, and having nice chats with Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon about how evil LGBTQ+ people are. He's a broken tool at best, and at worst he's one being wielded as a weapon against you.

The value of a protest is rarely in the individual action on a specific day. The value usually comes in the longer term. People become radicalized, they get used to mobilizing. They form networks and share knowledge. Even the very lib protest has its place. There’s no one right way to protest.
