🏳️‍⚧️ NEW 🏳️‍⚧️ We don't think the interim guidance published by the EHRC and pushed by Bridget Phillipson is lawful. So today we've started legal proceedings against them.

100 Labour rebels poised to defeat Kendall’s cruel welfare cuts. I cannot tell how much I hope they do. www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

I cannot state this strongly enough: If you are upset about the way this government is treating trans people and immigrants, and you have a Labour MP, for God sake write to them.

More chaos from the DWP, over undisclosed “operational changes” to its Access to Work scheme. It seems Government cuts to chronically ill & disabled people’s benefits has little to do with supporting them into work, & everything to do with eliminating expenditures. www.thecanary.co/uk/analysis/...

The Labour government is really planning on cutting Access to Work, the invaluable but badly designed scheme that provides disabled people with the support they need to access employment. They were never interested in helping disabled people to work. www.disabilitynewsservice.com/second-wave-...

When in LA, dress appropriately

A thousand times this Plus people doubling down on "if you ignore a huge societal problem it eventually dissolves" because they, personally, did not happen to die.

Lawyer and the UK's first trans judge, Dr Victoria McCloud KC was one of the voices that wasn't listened to during the Supreme Court ruling. We'll be supporting Victoria, and other representative groups to challenge the ruling. Help us fund this case 👇 goodlaw.social/xpme

The Supreme Court’s decision last week will not make anyone safer, cis or trans. We believe it’s placed the UK in breach of its obligations under the Human Rights Act. Join our challenge:

Solidarity with all trans, non-binary & intersex people facing the harsh and ill-considered guidance issued by the EHRC. It’s full of holes & has clearly been written without input from trans people. I will push for this to be withdrawn until thought-out guidance can be produced.

When I was a teen - watching the disgrace of Section 28 - I hoped by late middle age we might have seen more progress #translivesmatter #lgbtq #nonbinary #solidarity

Sound on 😽🤍 #cat #purr

Emergency demo. Come out for trans liberation! Come together with trans organisations, unions, and more to for a community-focused protest against the Supreme Court ruling this Saturday! Bring food and a raincoat. Saturday 19th April, 1pm Parliament Square

Trans women are women, trans men are men. Fix your hearts or fucking die.

The Supreme Court sided with FWS. But it didn’t hear from a single trans person. This ruling sets a dangerous precedent and erases trans women from protections. It puts trans rights back 20 years. We won't stop fighting for trans rights 🏳️‍⚧️

No trans people were consulted on this decision that only affects trans people. In fact trans people were actively barred from consulting on this decision that only affects trans people. But transphobic bigots? Oh they got consulted for days. Fucking grim. I'm absolutely fuming.

Trans women are women. The end.
