People rising up means armed insurrection. That's the alternative if electoral politics isn't working. Which it clearly isn't if elected representatives are demanding people rise up, instead of doing their job.

One of these days we're gonna have to reckon with the fact that "money that I spend which does not directly benefit me is a waste" is a popular sentiment. I think we should state plainly that this is selfish on its face. And stupid when you have awareness which extends beyond your nose.

Let us be clear: This is a fraught moment, and one that has polarized not only Americans but people all over the world. It demands incredible sensitivity and strict adherence to journalistic standards of objectivity, and simply put, that is something we aren’t willing to do.

Palestinian resistance is never “unprovoked” and to frame it as such is disingenuous propaganda of the highest order. Occupation is a constant provocation.

Transphobes who get mad about pronouns are weak. I speak Vietnamese. The pronoun I use for myself and the person I’m talking to or about depends on how old I am, how old they are, whether they’re a relative, whether they’re related to my mom or my dad, gender, and more. There are over 20 of them.
